Chandler Center for the Arts
Chandler Center for the Arts (CCA) sits in Chandler, Arizona. It is jointly owned by the City of Chandler and the Chandler Unified School District and serves as the home theater for Chandler High School and the city’s arts center. CCA does not receive direct funding for programming; donations go toward keeping the building running. The center is known for its innovative turntable-style auditorium designed by architect Wendell Rossman. This design lets the Hal Bogle Theatre and Recital Hall be used separately or rotated to face the main stage, increasing seating on the Steena Murray Mainstage. The Exhibition Hall offers free visual arts exhibits, and the Vision Gallery inside features rotating shows by more than 350 artists in many media. The Chandler Cultural Foundation, created in 1989, funds and develops programming for CCA, helping bring quality programs to the community. CCA is a popular spot for locals and visitors, near Downtown Chandler. In 2019, the center refreshed its brand with a cyan logo and updated exterior features, including reception windows. From 2024, CCA has hosted an annual series of free concerts by The Concert Truck, bringing classical music to various local locations in October.
