Spencer Harris was an American professional baseball outfielder born on August 12, 1900, in Duluth, Minnesota. He batted and threw left-handed, stood 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighed about 145 pounds. Harris played in Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox (1925–1926), the Washington Senators (1929), and the Philadelphia Athletics (1930), appearing in 164 MLB games. He made his MLB debut on April 14, 1925, with the White Sox and played his last major league game on June 14, 1930, for the Athletics. In the majors, Harris had a .249 batting average with 94 hits, 15 doubles, 3 triples, 3 home runs, and 46 runs batted in.

Harris had a long minor league career, spanning parts of 26 seasons from 1921–1924 and 1927–1948, and he played in over 3,100 games. He set several all-time minor league records, including most at-bats (11,377), most hits (3,617), most runs (2,287), and most doubles (743), and he ranks fourth all-time with 1,769 RBIs in the minor leagues. His final playing season came in 1948 with the Yakima Packers, where he hit .330 at age 47.

He lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and passed away on July 3, 1982, in Minneapolis. Harris is buried at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
