Ceratina binghami is a small bee in the Apidae family. It belongs to the carpenter bee group (subfamily Xylocopinae). The species was described by Cockerell in 1908. It has had other names in the past, including Ceratina viridissima sensu Bingham (1897) and Pithitis sympatrica (Shiokawa & Sakagami, 1969). Ceratina binghami nests in the stems of plants such as Caesalpinia pulcherrima and Adenanthera pavonina, with the female guarding the nest entrance.
