Traian T. Coșovei
Traian T. Coșovei (28 November 1954 – 1 January 2014) was a Romanian poet. He was the son of writer Traian Coșovei and Maria Urdăreanu. He studied Romanian language and literature at the University of Bucharest, graduating in 1978, and wrote a thesis on the Beat Generation. Often seen as part of the 80s generation, he belonged to the "Monday Literary Circle" led by Nicolae Manolescu and to a circle led by Ovid S. Crohmălniceanu. Coșovei published his first story in 1978 in Literary Romania and began editing the Romanian Paper in 1979. He joined the Writers' Union of Romania in 1980. In 1996 he started working at the National Museum of Romanian Literature in Bucharest, where he stayed until his death. He died on 1 January 2014 at the age of 59.
