Cat Girl Kiki is a 2006 Japanese fantasy comedy-drama directed by Akiyoshi Sugiura and stars Yui Kano. The film is part of the Akihabara Trilogy from VAP, which focuses on cosplay and otaku culture. The story follows Yoshirou Takagi, a reclusive young man who adopts a stray cat named Kiki, who magically turns into a catgirl. She helps him cope with his loneliness, while he teaches her to behave more like a human and has her wear a maid outfit and a Japanese school uniform. The movie was released in Japan in 2006 and was distributed in the United States by Asia Pulp Cinema.
