Cardiel Lake
Lago Cardiel (Cardiel Lake) is a large lake in Patagonia, Argentina. It lies in the Río Chico Department of Santa Cruz Province, between the Andes and the South Atlantic. The lake covers about 370 square kilometers and sits about 276 meters above sea level. It has an average depth of 49 meters and a maximum depth of 76 meters. The main inflow is the Río Cardiel, and there is no natural outflow. Coordinates: 48°57′S, 71°13′W.
