Carabus melancholicus costatus
Carabus melancholicus costatus is a subspecies of beetle in the ground beetle family Carabidae. It belongs to the animal kingdom, the arthropod phylum, the insect class, the order Coleoptera, the suborder Adephaga, and the genus Carabus. The full scientific name is Carabus melancholicus costatus, described by Germar in 1824.
This beetle is found in France, Portugal, and Spain. It is brownish-black in color.
