Canton of Pointe-Noire

The Canton of Pointe-Noire was a former administrative division in the Arrondissement of Basse-Terre, on the island of Guadeloupe, France. It included one commune, Pointe-Noire. The canton covered 60 square kilometers and had a population of 6,785 in 2012. In March 2015, it was disbanded as part of a nationwide reorganization of cantons, and Pointe-Noire joined the canton of Sainte-Rose-1.
