Lighthouse (1947 film)
Lighthouse (1947) is an American drama film directed by Frank Wisbar. It stars Don Castle, June Lang, and John Litel. This low-budget independent film was distributed by Producers Releasing Corporation, with some shooting done on the coast around San Pedro. The story centers on Connie Armitage, who falls for Sam Wells, a lighthouse keeper she supposed would marry him. When a surprise visit reveals that Sam is already married, Connie marries Hank, the much older head keeper, on the rebound. The three then live together in the isolated lighthouse. Sam tries to win Connie back, but she starts to develop real feelings for Hank. Enraged, Sam attempts to sabotage their marriage by any means.
