Cannon Hill railway station
Cannon Hill railway station is on the Cleveland line in Brisbane, serving the suburb of Cannon Hill. It is about 12.6 kilometres from Central. The station has two side platforms and three tracks at ground level. There is parking for 161 cars, bike facilities, and it is accessible. Electrified services run here, and the station is owned and operated by Queensland Rail. The station codes are 600256 for Platform 1 and 600257 for Platform 2, and it sits in fare zone go card 1.
History and services:
- Cannon Hill is listed on the Brisbane Heritage Register as of 30 November 2012.
- The Fisherman Islands line to the Port of Brisbane opened to the north of the station on 15 July 1996.
- Cleveland line trains run from Shorncliffe, Northgate, Doomben and Bowen Hills to Manly and Cleveland.
- Some trains terminate at Platform 1 as part of a 15-minute peak-hour service guarantee introduced in 2014 after timetable changes by the Queensland Government and R.W. Singleton.
