Candy Coated Fury
Candy Coated Fury is the eighth studio album by American ska punk band Reel Big Fish. It was released on July 31, 2012, and was recorded from March 21 to June 1, 2012 at Music Inc. Studios in Orange, California. The album runs 54 minutes and 56 seconds, was released on Rock Ridge Records, and produced by Aaron Barrett. Cover art was created by Thom Foolery, and the album features guest vocals from Coolie Ranx, Brian Klemm, Julie Stoyer, and members of Sonic Boom Six.
Aaron Barrett said he focused on making the songs more danceable. A teaser video was released on June 6, 2012, and on June 12 the band released the track "I Know You Too Well To Like You Anymore" on YouTube after premiering on Ska Parade. The album arrived July 31, 2012, and was sold in limited quantities at venues during the Summer of Ska Tour 2012. It debuted at No. 80 on the Billboard 200. All tracks were written by Aaron Barrett, unless otherwise noted.
