Candice Pinto
Candice Pinto, born 12 March 1981 in Mumbai, India, is a well-known Indian model and beauty pageant winner. She won Miss Tourism International in 2001 and Miss Fresh Face in 2002. She is a regular at major Indian fashion events like Lakme Fashion Week and India Fashion Week and is seen on many fashion magazine covers. She is 5 ft 8 in tall, with black hair and brown eyes.
Pinto grew up in a Catholic family with one parent from Goa and the other from Mangalore, and she has three siblings. She attended Holy Cross High School in Kurla and earned a master's degree in Economics from SIES College in Sion, Mumbai. She began modeling in college with her brother. Although her family initially discouraged modeling, they supported her entry into the Gladrags Mega Model contest, which she won in March 2000 at age 19. She has represented India at international contests such as the International Mega Model Contest and Miss Intercontinental in Germany, and she finished in the top ten and won Best Body at Top Model of the World in Munich in 2001.
She continued to build her career in fashion and, in 2020, was recognized as a Legendary Role Model by the Indian Fashion Awards.
