Cañizar is a small municipality in Guadalajara Province, in the Castilla-La Mancha region of Spain. It covers about 15.41 square kilometers and has around 78 residents as of January 1, 2025 (it had 84 inhabitants in 2011). The population density is roughly 5.1 people per square kilometer. The town is located at 40.7708° N, 3.0656° W. It uses Central European Time (UTC+1) and daylight saving time (UTC+2).
