CSIRT.CZ
CSIRT.CZ is the Czech Republic’s national cyber security response team. It is run by CZ.NIC, the operator of the .CZ domain, and its main task is to handle security incidents on networks within the Czech Republic. The role was taken over from the academic CESNET in 2008, and after changes in 2012, CSIRT.CZ operates as the National CERT under a public contract with the Czech National Security Agency.
Beyond incident response, CSIRT.CZ provides cybersecurity education and collaborates with key players in the country, such as internet service providers and banks. Because many cyber threats cross borders, the team also works with other CSIRT/CERT organizations in Europe and around the world to develop effective solutions and recommendations.
CSIRT.CZ is accredited in Trusted Introducer and is a member of FIRST.
