Bukar–Sadong, also called Bidayuh Bukar-Sadung, is an Austronesian language of the Dayak Bidayuh people. It is native to Borneo and is mainly spoken in Sarawak, Malaysia, with some speakers in nearby West Kalimantan, Indonesia. About 49,000 people in Malaysia spoke it according to the 2000 census. It belongs to the Austronesian family, within Malayo-Polynesian, Dayak Bidayuh. ISO 639-3 code: sdo. Glottolog code: buka1257. Some researchers (McGinn 2009) suggest it is the closest relative of Rejang, a divergent language of Sumatra.
