Christina Norman
Christina Norman is an American media executive and producer. She grew up in New York City, in the Bronx and Queens, with musical parents, and earned a film production degree from Boston University. She worked as an agent in television advertising until 1991, then joined MTV and rose to senior vice president for marketing and executive vice president. In January 2004, she became president of VH1. As VH1’s leader, she approved shows like I Love the 80s, Bands Reunited, Best Week Ever, and Rock Behind Bars, which helped boost ratings. She also oversaw the launches of MTV2 and MTV Tres and helped grow mtvU. Norman left MTV in 2007. She later served as executive director of the Oprah Winfrey Network and led content for Think450, the National Basketball Players Association project.
