Brezje nad Kamnikom is a small settlement in the Municipality of Kamnik, in northern Slovenia. It sits on the northwest slope of Vovar Hill, about 625 meters above sea level, on a sunny ridge. The area has shallow, loamy soil. There is a natural cave beneath the village, with the entrance along the road to Vodice nad Kamnikom. The settlement appears in historical records as Bresyach in 1368 and Nabresy in 1499. The name was changed from Brezje to Brezje nad Kamnikom in 1953, meaning "Brezje above Kamnik."

A cultural heritage site nearby is a chapel shrine along the old road from Godič to Brezje nad Kamnikom. It is a closed chapel-shrine with a quatrefoil ornament on the gable and a wooden crucifix in a semicircular niche; it dates from 1852.

As of 2002, Brezje nad Kamnikom had a population of 76.
