Romantic World is a 1990 pop song by American singer Dana Dawson. It opens her album Paris New York and Me. The track was written by Romano Musumarra and Porter Carroll and produced by Musumarra. It was released in December 1990 as the lead single, with “Everytime” as the B-side.

The song was a big hit in France, becoming Dawson’s first top-five hit there and her biggest. It entered the French charts at 43 in December 1990, later re-entered at 45 and climbed to a peak of 4 in its 13th week. It stayed 15 weeks in the top ten and 26 weeks in the top 50, earning Gold status for selling over 400,000 copies.

Outside France, the song saw limited success in Sweden and Belgium, peaking at 33 in each country, but it did not reach the top 100 in Australia. On the European Hot 100, it started at 98 in February 1991, peaked at 21, and stayed in the top 100 for 19 weeks.

In 1993, Brenda Fassie covered Romantic World on her album I Am Not A Bad Girl.
