Breydin is a small municipality in the Barnim district of Brandenburg, Germany. It covers 35.27 square kilometers and sits at about 64 meters above sea level. As of December 31, 2023, around 825 people live there, giving a population density of about 23.4 people per square kilometer. The municipality has two parts. The mayor for 2024–2029 is Thomas Höhns. The postal code is 16230, the dialing code is 033451, and the car license code is BAR. The coordinates are 52.75°N, 13.78306°E.

Breydin is located in northeastern Germany, in the state of Brandenburg. Its history includes being part of the Prussian Province of Brandenburg from 1815 to 1947, then the State of Brandenburg from 1947 to 1952, followed by the East German Bezirk Frankfurt from 1952 to 1990. Since 1990, Breydin has again been part of Brandenburg.
