Frocktober
Frocktober is a mix of the words frock and October. It started as a frock-themed party in New Zealand and is linked to Frocktoberfest, a playful nod to Oktoberfest. The event isn’t a formal festival; it’s mainly a party during October, usually on one night, where people of all genders wear dresses called frocks, often old-fashioned ones. The idea has spread to Australia, the USA, England, Thailand, and Greece, with different twists in each country. In Australia, Frocktober is connected to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
