Brent Parks Constabulary
Brent Parks Constabulary was a small team that patrolled the London Borough of Brent’s parks and open spaces. In 1979, security staff from the Borough Security Department were made constables, and the name Brent Parks Constabulary was officially adopted about 1993. By that year the force had 17 constables and 2 supervisors. They did not receive formal police training, which caused concern in the Metropolitan Police.
