The Woman I Murdered
The Woman I Murdered, originally La femme que j’ai assassinée, is a 1948 French drama directed by Jacques Daniel-Norman. It stars Armand Bernard, Pierre Larquey, and Micheline Francey. The story follows a businessman who dismisses a young woman’s threats to kill herself. Later, he is shocked to read that she has died in a canal. Filled with remorse, he takes in her orphaned daughter and tries to make amends by helping her.
The film runs 91 minutes, is in French, and was produced by Jacques Haïk for Codo Cinéma and distributed by Les Films Cristal. It premiered on November 26, 1948.
