Geronimo Springs Museum

The Geronimo Springs Museum is a small regional museum in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. It is named after Geronimo Hot Springs, in the Hot Springs Artesian Basin, which was named for the Chiricahua Apache leader Geronimo.

The exhibits cover the area's history. Visitors can see fossils, photographs, artifacts, and pottery from the Mogollon/Mimbres culture (around 200 CE to 1350 AD) and from the Tularosa region. The museum also features a historic miner's cabin moved from the Black Range.

Other displays include Apache and Hispanic artifacts, military objects, and mining and ranching history. There is also a display about Ralph Edwards, the host of the Truth or Consequences radio and TV show, who moved to town in 1950 to host the show locally. The museum was co-founded in 1972 by Ann Welborn, who remembered meeting several movie stars who appeared on the show.

In 2021, a representation of Geronimo was stolen from the museum's facade.
