2002 Tennessee Volunteers football
The 2002 Tennessee Volunteers football team represented the University of Tennessee in the 2002 NCAA Division I-A football season. Coached by Phillip Fulmer in his 10th season, the Vols played home games at Neyland Stadium and competed in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They finished with an 8–5 record overall, 5–3 in SEC play. They appeared in the Peach Bowl but lost to Maryland, 30–3. The 2003 NFL Draft followed in late April 2003 in New York City, with Tennessee players selected.
