1916 Argentine Primera División
1916 Argentine Primera División: the 25th season of top-flight football in Argentina. The campaign ran from March 23 to December 1916. Racing Club claimed its fourth consecutive league title. Marius Hiller was the top scorer with 16 goals. Gimnasia y Esgrima (La Plata) was promoted, while Belgrano Athletic Club and Quilmes were relegated. The season also included the 1916 Copa Aldao.
