Blue-and-gold tanager (Bangsia arcaei) is a bird in the tanager family Thraupidae. It lives in the montane forests of the Talamancan region and in Serranía del Darién. The species is Near Threatened due to habitat loss. Scientific name: Bangsia arcaei (Sclater, PL & Salvin, 1869).
