Hyperplatys
Hyperplatys is a genus of longhorn beetles in the subfamily Lamiinae. It is part of the family Cerambycidae, tribe Acanthocinini. The genus falls under the broader classification: Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Arthropoda, Class Insecta, Order Coleoptera, Suborder Polyphaga, Infraorder Cucujiformia. Hyperplatys was described by Haldeman in 1847.
