Hey, Landlord! was an American sitcom on NBC during the 1966–1967 season. It aired on Sunday nights with Procter & Gamble as the sponsor.

Premise: The story centers on Woody Banner (Will Hutchins), who learns his uncle has died and he inherits a New York City brownstone in Manhattan’s East 30s, making him the building’s landlord. The tenants include Chuck Hookstratten the comedian (Sandy Baron), a photographer named Jack (Michael Constantine), Theresa (Pamela Rodgers) and her roommate Kyoto (Miko Mayama), whose frequent yell of “Hey, Landlord!” gives the show its title. The cast also features Ann Morgan Guilbert and Kathryn Minner, who played older ladies, and Sally Field in four episodes as Woody’s sister Bonnie.

Significance: This series marked Garry Marshall's first work as a co-creator and producer for television; he would later create major hits like Happy Days and Laverne & Shirl ey. Casting director Fred Roos, who later worked with Francis Ford Coppola, also cast members from The Committee in small parts. Some story ideas from Hey, Landlord! are said to have influenced Marshall's later show Laverne & Shirley.

Episodes and format: The show ran for one season, producing 31 episodes, from September 11, 1966 to April 23, 1967. It was produced by Mirisch-Rich Television Productions in association with United Artists Television, with Lee Rich as executive producer, and Garry Marshall and Jerry Belson as producers. The theme music was composed by Quincy Jones.

Broadcast details: It was shown in the 8:30–9:00 pm Eastern time slot on Sundays.
