Bill Zimmerman (baseball)
William Frederick Zimmerman (January 20, 1887 – October 4, 1952) was a German-born American professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball for the Brooklyn Robins in 1915. He batted and threw right-handed. Born in Kengen, Germany, Zimmerman debuted in MLB on April 14, 1915 and played his last game on July 9, 1915. In his brief career, he had a .281 batting average, with 0 home runs and 7 runs batted in. He died in Newark, New Jersey, at age 65.
