Bill Andrus
Bill Andrus, full name William Morgan Andrus, nicknamed Andy, was a Major League Baseball third baseman. He was born July 25, 1907, in Beaumont, Texas, and died March 12, 1982, in Washington, D.C. He batted and threw right-handed. Andrus played in the major leagues in 1931 for the Washington Senators and in 1937 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In total, he appeared in 6 games (3 for each team) and had 9 at-bats, with a .000 batting average. His MLB debut was September 19, 1931, and his final game was May 11, 1937.
