Berichus (also Berik) was a Hun nobleman and ambassador who flourished around 449. Attila appointed him ruler over many towns. According to the historian Priscus, after visiting the Huns, Berichus went with them to seek gifts from Theodosius. Attila then sent him as an envoy to Constantinople. On the way, he argued with the Romans after their ambassador Maximinus insulted the earlier barbarian ambassadors Aspar and Areobindus.
