Bel Air North, Maryland
Bel Air North is a census-designated place in Harford County, Maryland, just north of the town of Bel Air. It covers about 16 square miles (16.04 total; 15.97 land and 0.077 water), mostly on land.
As of 2020, about 31,800 people lived there, with a density of roughly 2,000 people per square mile.
Geography and borders: Bel Air North is bordered to the south by Bel Air and the Bel Air South area, and to the southwest by Fallston. The northern edge is near Maryland Route 23; east of Bel Air, Route 22 separates Bel Air North from Bel Air South, while Baltimore Pike separates it from Bel Air to the west. Winters Run forms the southwest border with Fallston. U.S. Route 1 runs through the center of the area, bypassing Bel Air to the north and connecting to the Conowingo Dam to the northeast and Baltimore to the southwest.
