Batpakty (Kazakh: Батпақты) is a village in the Sarybel District of Kazakhstan’s Karaganda Region. It is the administrative center of Batpakty Rural District. The CATO code is 355633100. The village sits about 14 km southeast of Osakarovka, the district center, and the M-36 highway passes through it. Postal code 101003; area code +7 72149. Population was 1,399 in 1999 (691 men and 708 women) and 1,000 in 2009 (479 men and 521 women). Batpakty was founded in 1905 by German settlers from the Volga Region and was originally named Kronidovskoye.
