Barcis
Barcis, also known as Barce in Western Friulian, is a small municipality in the Pordenone province of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region in Italy. It sits in the Valcellina valley, about 110 km northwest of Trieste and 25 km north of Pordenone. The town covers about 103 square kilometers and lies at an elevation of 409 meters. As of December 31, 2017, around 256 people lived there.
Barcis includes several small villages: Arcola, Armasio, Cimacosta, Fontane, Guata, Losie, Mighet, Molassa, Pentina, Pezzeda, Ponte Antoi, Portuz, Predaia, Ribe, Roppe, and Vallata. The mayor is Claudio Traina. The postal code is 33080 and the telephone area code is 0425.
