Bannister River

Bannister River is a river in the South West region of Western Australia. It begins near North Bannister and flows south for about 50 kilometres to join the Hotham River near Boddington. The river was named after Captain Thomas Bannister, the first European to visit the area in 1830; the name was recorded by Surveyor General John Septimus Roe in 1832.
