Banappa Park is a public park in Bangalore, near Hudson Circle. It has long been a site for public meetings and political rallies, with at least two rallies attended by hundreds of people held there every week. Leaders, including Mahatma Gandhi, have spoken in the park. It is linked to the freedom struggle and later social movements. A spinning wheel symbol at the park represents Gandhi's ideals and marks where he gave many speeches. Next to the park is a basketball court used by the Devanga Union team.
