Baldissero Torinese is a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Turin, in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It lies about 9 kilometers east of Turin. The town covers 15.41 square kilometers and sits at 421 meters above sea level. As of January 1, 2017, about 3,760 people lived there, with a population density of around 244 per square kilometer. The residents are called Baldisserese. The postal code is 10020 and the telephone area code is 011. Baldissero Torinese borders Castiglione Torinese, Torino, San Mauro Torinese, Pavarolo, Pino Torinese, and Chieri. It is twinned with Grude, Bosnia and Herzegovina, since 2002.
