Bad Herrenalb is a town in the Calw district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It lies in the northern Black Forest, about 15 km east of Baden-Baden and 22 km southwest of Pforzheim. The town is connected to Karlsruhe by the Albtalbahn electric railway, and Bad Herrenalb is the terminus of one branch (line S1).

The town grew up around Alba Dominorum, a Cistercian monastery founded in 1148, which was dissolved during the Reformation. In 1841, Dr. J. Weiss opened a cold-water sanitarium, later turned into a water-therapy institute for nervous disorders and expanded by Dr. Mermagen. Since 1954, Bad Herrenalb has been officially recognized as a health resort. In 1971, a 600-meter-deep mineral well was drilled, leading to the addition of “Bad” (bath) to the name on July 26, 1971.

Rotensol and Neusatz were incorporated in 1972, and Bernbach followed in 1975. The town has about 8,284 residents (as of 2023).
