Baconsthorpe is a small village and civil parish in Norfolk, England. It sits in the North Norfolk district, about 4 miles southeast of Holt, 5 miles south of Sheringham, and 20 miles north of Norwich. The parish covers 5.53 square kilometres.

Population has been around 215–216 in recent years (232 people in 2001, 215 in 2011, about 216 in 2019).

The name comes from “Bacon’s outlying farm or settlement,” named after a Norman-era landowner.

Nearby landmarks include the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle, about a mile north of the village. The medieval Church of St Mary was restored in 1868 and again in 1958. Inside are monuments from the 15th–18th centuries and some 16th-century glass saved from the castle.
