Graduation (2007 film)
Graduation is a 2007 American coming-of-age drama directed by Michael Mayer. The story follows four suburban Pittsburgh high school friends—Carl (Chris Marquette), Polly (Shannon Lucio), Chauncey (Riley Smith), and Jackson (Chris Lowell)—as they near graduation. Polly and Chauncey are dating; Carl needs a date for prom; Jackson wonders about his future.
When Carl’s mother needs $100,000 for surgery, Polly proposes robbing her father’s bank as a way to fund the operation, using graduation as a perfect alibi. The plan gets complicated as Carl falls for a bank teller named Suzi and Polly falls for Jackson. Amid an unexpected hostage crisis, the friends confront who they are and what they want.
