Bóly
Bóly is a town in Baranya County, Hungary. It covers 25.44 square kilometers and had 3,819 residents in 2022.
Historically, Bóly was home to many Danube Swabians, ethnic Germans who came from the Fulda region in the 17th and 18th centuries. Today Bóly is mostly Hungarian. In 2022 the population included a small German minority and some Croatian and other origins. The main religions are Roman Catholic (about 45%) and Reformed (about 7%).
The local football team is Bólyi SE. The town is also known by its German name Bohl and Croatian name Boja.
