Athipattu Pudunagar
Athipattu Pudunagar, also known as Athipattu Pudhu Nagar, is a census town in the Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, India. It lies north of Chennai city. The town has the Athipattu Pudhunagar railway station on the Chennai Suburban Railway network. It is designated as a Special Industrial Area of Tamil Nadu. The town is surrounded by major facilities and industries, including Kamarajar Port, the North Chennai Thermal Power Station, NTECL, cement plants (India Cement and Zuari Cement), L&T Shipbuilding, and oil companies (IOCL, HPCL, BPCL), along with container yard terminals. It is part of the Chennai metropolitan planning area and falls under the Thiruvallur Lok Sabha constituency and the Ponneri Vidhan Sabha constituency. Acronym: ANT.
