Ateli
Ateli is a small town and municipality in Mahendragarh district, Haryana, India, near Narnaul. It serves as the administrative center for eight villages in Ateli tehsil. The town sits about 299 meters above sea level.
In 2011, Ateli had about 8,678 residents. The population is roughly 52% male and 48% female. The literacy rate is 78%, which is higher than India's national average. About 13% of people are under six years old.
For travel, Ateli has a railway station on the Rewari–Narnaul line, with some slow passenger trains stopping there. The Rewari–Narnaul highway (now National Highway 11) passes through Ateli and is being widened to four lanes. NH 11 connects Rewari with Ateli, Narnaul, Jhunjhunu, and Bikaner, and helps people reach nearby towns and cities including Narnaul, Mahendergarh, Kanina, Rewari, Gurgaon, and Delhi.
The current state MLA of Ateli is Arti Singh Rao of the BJP.
