Letters to Santa 4
Letters to Santa 4 (Listy do M. 4) is a 2021 Polish romantic comedy directed by Patrick Yoka. It’s the fourth film in the Letters to Santa series, following the 2011 film. Set in Warsaw on Christmas Eve, it weaves together several love stories that are connected as the plot unfolds, in a style inspired by Love Actually.
The cast includes Tomasz Karolak as Melchior “Mel Gibson,” Agnieszka Dygant as Karina, Piotr Adamczyk as Szczepan, Wojciech Malajkat as Wojciech, Izabela Kuna as Agata, Magdalena Różczka as Karolina, and Borys Szyc as Filip.
Produced by TVN and distributed by Kino Świat, the film was written by Marcin Baczyński and Mariusz Kuczewski. Other crew members include director Patrick Yoka, editor Jarosław Barzan, cinematographer Marian Prokop, and composer Łukasz Targosz. It was filmed in Warsaw in 2020, with production affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The planned cinema premiere on 4 November 2020 was shifted to an online release on Player.pl on 1 February 2021. The running time is 111 minutes and the language is Polish.
Letters to Santa 4 was followed by Letters to Santa 5 in 2022 and Letters to Santa 6 in 2024.
