Asia Choral Grand Prix
The Asia Choral Grand Prix (ACGP) is an annual competition for top choirs in Asia. It brings together the winners of five Asian choral festivals to compete against each other. The event started on 8 August 2019. The next competition will be held from 26 to 28 February 2026 in Songdo, South Korea.
ACGP aims to raise the quality and appreciation of choral music by linking the leading Asian festivals. The host country rotates among the five member nations. The idea came from the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing and was started by the Cultural Center of the Philippines, which also runs the Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival, after talks with organizers of the Singapore and Bali choral festivals in 2017.
At the closing ceremony of the first edition, the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod International Choir Festival was added as a new ACGP member.
