Asalpur is a small village in Kotla block of Firozabad district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It covers about 1.3 square kilometers. In 2011, 1,738 people lived there in 310 households, with 916 men and 822 women. There were 298 children aged 0–6 (158 boys and 140 girls), making up about 17% of the population. Forty-two people belonged to Scheduled Castes.

Earlier census notes: In 1961, Asalpur had 445 residents in 81 households and covered 394 acres, with a medical practitioner at that time. In 1981, nearby Lukharia had 333 residents in 61 households.

As of 2011, Asalpur had one primary school but no healthcare facilities. Drinking water came from taps, hand pumps, and boreholes; there were no public toilets. There was no post office or public library. Electricity was available for homes and agricultural use, but not for commercial purposes. Roads were partly unpaved (kachcha) and partly paved (pakka).
