Arthur Frederick Phoenix, often called Ginger Phoenix, was an English professional footballer who played mainly in the 1920s and 1930s. He was born on 5 March 1902 in Patricroft, Eccles, Lancashire, and died on 3 April 1979 in Eccles, England. He played as an inside right and later as a wing half.

Phoenix began his career with Hadfield and Glossop before joining Birmingham in 1923. He made his First Division debut on 29 September 1923 in a 0–0 draw at Arsenal and played a few games that season. He then moved to Aston Villa, where he scored three goals. His career continued with Barnsley, and his longest spell was at Exeter City, where he spent three seasons and made 52 league appearances, scoring 9 goals.

After Exeter, he spent a season with Wigan Borough, then played for Bath City, Torquay United, and Mansfield Town. In 1933 he played in France for Racing Club de Paris in Division 1. He later had brief spells with Sandbach Ramblers and Shelbourne, followed by Colwyn Bay United, Brierley Hill Alliance, and Ballymena United in the Irish League. He finished his career with Mossley in the Cheshire League as a wing half. Some older sources dispute his exact birth year, but 1902 is widely accepted.
