FC Carpenedolo SSD
Carpenedolo, officially Football Club Carpenedolo S.S.D., is a football club from Carpenedolo in Lombardy, Italy. Founded in 1957, with refounds in 2012 and 2020, the team plays in the Eccellenza Lombardy group C at the Stadio Mundial ’82, which holds about 3,000 spectators. The club’s chairman is Stefano Pedrini and the manager is Sandro Novazzi.
In its history, Carpenedolo finished second in Serie C2 Group A in the 2007–08 season and reached the promotion playoffs, but lost to Mezzocorona and stayed in the fourth tier. After a relegation to Serie D in 2010–11 and a later spell in Eccellenza, the club’s sports title moved to Montichiari in 2012 as FC Atletico Montichiari. A new Carpenedolo club revived the name, starting from youth football as Atletico Carpenedolo. The team returned to senior football in 2018, later acquiring Sporting Desenzano’s sporting title and becoming FC Carpenedolo S.S.D.
