Arkansas Highway 400 (AR 400), also known as Shepherd Springs Road, is a short state highway in Crawford County, Arkansas. It runs 2.05 miles (3.30 km) from US Route 71 northeast of Chester to the entrance of Lake Fort Smith State Park. The road travels through rugged Ozark National Forest terrain, including a steep descent with a hairpin turn, before reaching the park. The entire route lies within Crawford County and is maintained by the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT). Major junctions: West end at US 71 near Chester; East end at Lake Fort Smith State Park.
