Apyu, California
Apyu was a former Karok settlement in Humboldt County, California. It stood about 1 mile above the Salmon River mouth, near the river’s upper rapids across from Ishipishi. The exact location is not known. It was roughly 0.5 miles east of Somes Bar, a community in Siskiyou County. Approximate coordinates are 41.3778° N, 123.4911° W.
